Become a member!

Membership is open to all nurses with an interest in the care of the newborn.
To become a member of ACNN, you will need to join the affiliated association of your home state or territory in Australia. Once you are a member of a state association you are a member of the College.

To become a member, complete an application, pay for your membership on-line (for all State Associations except NSW/ACT), and send to the State Association for processing. 

For neonatal nurses joining NSW/ACT - please download, complete and post the  membership form to the NSW association. Once your membership has been approved, you will then be asked to pay the membership fee.

Membership Categories

  • Full membership of the College is open to neonatal nurses (via State Association membership) and includes full member services, voting rights and eligibility to be a member of the Board of Directors and/or college advisory committees.
  • Associate membership is open to neonatal nurses and to any other interested person at the discretion of the executive council. Associate members are entitled to full member services, but shall not have voting rights
  • Honorary membership shall be granted to persons of distinction who have made a significant contribution to neonatal nursing. They shall be admitted to honorary membership by a resolution of the executive council.
