WOMen and Babies Health and Wellbeing: Action through Trials (WOMBAT) Collaboration was established by a group of Australian perinatal researchers and practitioners awarded an NHMRC (National Health and Medical Research Council) enabling grant to enhance the national health and medical research effort.
The WOMBAT collaboration promotes and supports high quality randomised controlled trials in the perinatal area by:
- Identifying gaps in the research
- Providing education and training
- Supporting multicentre trials
