WELCOME to the wonderful but sometimes challenging world of caring for neonates.

ANNSA would like to provide you with an opportunity to network with others working in the field.

As a member you are able to gain new knowledge as well as maintain your current skills and abilities.

There are 3 ordinary meetings held during the year and an AGM dinner meeting usually held in November.  Guest speakers provide us with up to date information on topical issues.

A newsletter is sent out prior to each meeting – these contain many interesting and informative articles, as well as provide reminders of coming events eg meetings; conferences; study days; fund raising activities, etc.

As a member, you are automatically a member of the Australian College of Neonatal Nurses and hence you will receive copies of their Journal.

After a qualifying period, members can apply for sponsorship to conferences within Australia and internationally (conditions apply).

Fees are tax deductible.  The cost currently is $70 per annum – due from the 1st July. These fees are our main source of funds but we do have some fund raising such as Entertainment Books and some promotional goods and the obligatory raffle at the AGM.

Members receive a Certificate of Attendance at each meeting as well as an annual Certificate of Membership - both are invaluable in one’s professional portfolio.

So consider joining –enclosed is an application form and also a back issue of the NEOCENTRAL (newsletter).

REMEMBER – we can only grow and be better carers of our young charges with strong support from our members.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings soon.
