Dr Sabrina de Souza, Research Fellow.
Dr Sabrina is a paediatric and neonatal nursing researcher dedicated to improving patient safety in critical care settings. Her work bridges
theoretical knowledge and clinical practice to better prepare future healthcare professionals for paediatric and neonatal care. Her current
research focuses on optimising vascular access outcomes by investigating clinical practices and evaluating innovative technologies for the
care of infants and children.

Stephanie Hall.
Stephanie is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, nurse researcher, PhD candidate and wearer of too many hats. She is currently based at the RBWH
in Brisbane where she has worked for the last 15 years. Stephanie is passionate about skin, PIVCs, research, evidence-based practice and
neonatal nursing education. If left unsupervised she happily speaks on these topics at length to anyone who stays still long enough.

Janene Douglas.
Janene has 30 years of clinical experience in paediatric and neonatal nursing care and currently works at the Royal Brisbane and Women's
Hospital as a Neonatal Clinical Nurse and Clinical Research Nurse and is an HDR candidate. She is passionate about best-practice, reducing
skin breaking procedure frequencies, and partnering with parents/carers in care delivery. Janene's research is focussed on procedural
evidence to support consistency and best practice for neonatal capillary blood sampling.
