Presenter: Ann Marie Dunk
Bio: Ann Marie is the Clinical Nurse Consultant for the Tissue Viability Unit at Canberra Hospital. She has an extensive wound management background and has a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Nursing by Research and is a PhD candidate with Ghent University, Belgium within the SKINT (Skin Integrity Research Group). She had conducted numerous research and quality projects and presented nationally and internationally and has published in this field. In 2011 she was awarded ACT Nursing and Research Excellence and in 2015 she was awarded Australian Capital Territory Nurse of the Year. She has been a board member of the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel, representing Australia and an active member of Wounds Australia.  In 2023 awarded Canberra Health Services CEO “Learning in Practice” award in recognition of the Tissue Viability Unit at Canberra Hospital. In 2024 Chaired the Inaugural Solventum ANZ Skin Integrity Forum, in Sydney, Australia.
