2027 Nominations OPEN in June.
ACNN members are invited to nominate colleagues for the Neonatal Nurse Excellenc
e
Award, in recognition of their dedication and work which exemplifies the ACNN Standards
of Practice
(for Neonatal Nurses).
Nominated neonatal nurses will have made a substantial contribution to neonatal nursing in one or more of the following areas:
- Clinical Practice
- Clinical Education
- Clinical Research
Nomination Process
- 2027 Electronic Nomination Form will be available early June.
- Please nominate the primary area (practice, education, research) of the focus of the nomination, providing examples of contributions made to the workplace and/or informing practice change.
- Email the nomination to the Professional Officer, at professionalofficer@acnn.org.au
Award
- The winner will receive $1000 in recognition of their achievement and the nominator of the winner receives $100
- Winner will be announced on 15th August as part of our International Neonatal Nurses Day celebrations
- All Neonatal Nurses who receive a nomination will be acknowledged and receive a certificate of appreciation
Key dates
- Nominations open 15 June and close 5 pm 30 June 2027
- Winner/s and all nominees notified prior to 15 August 2027
- Winner announced via social media on International Neonatal Nurses Day; 15 August.
