Entry into Australia
Unless you are an Australian citizen, you will need a valid Australian visa to enter the country. New Zealand
passport holders can apply for a visa upon arrival in the country. All other passport holders, regardless of age, must apply for a visa
before leaving home. You can apply for a range of Australian visa types via the ETA app or on the Department
of Home Affairs website.

- Visa's can be applied for up to 12-months in advance for many visa types
- We strongly recommend applying at least 4 weeks in advance for a visitor visa
- Dependent on Country of passport holder - visa type could be an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), an E-visitor visa, or a business visitor stream (to attend a conference or expo). Charges may apply. Visas are valid for stays of up to 3 months.
