ACNN strives to keep membership fees low but still offer exclusive benefits to members including free or low cost education and professional development activities and generous scholarships to support conference attendance, post-graduate education and research projects.

  • Being part of international network's including the Council of International Neonatal Nurses (COINN) which is an affiliate of the International Council of Nurses (ICN).
  • The opportunity to become a committee member at branch and national level and thus help shape the College‘s strategic direction and activities.

ACNN has an annual membership year from 1 July to 30 June.

  • For those joining between 1 April and 30 June - your membership is active until the following June. 
  • For those joining between 1 July and 31 December - your membership is active until the following September.
  • A half year membership applies to those joining between 1 January to 31 March with full year membership renewal required in June of the same year. 
  • Membership fee if joining between 1 April and 31 December - $99.50 (inclusive of GST). 
  • Membership fee if joining between 1 January and 31 March - $49.75 (inclusive of GST). Please note: membership renewal will be due between June to September of the same year (renewal reminders will be sent commencing in June.  

ACNN PROCESSES CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS THROUGH THE PAYPAL GATEWAY. Membership fee MUST be paid on completion of the application form. Please select the Pay by PayPal button - and then select PAY BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD BUTTON. 

Application for Membership

  • Complete the online application form below.
  • Pay the membership fee by credit card (using PayPal merchant gateway - do NOT need a PayPal account; select pay by credit/debit card option).
  • Membership application will be processed as soon as possible depending on timely response from your referee. Please note your membership will not become active until the referee confirms. 
  • Once approved you will receive an email notifying you that your membership is now active.

Full membership is available to registered nurses, registered midwives or nurse practitioners living in Australia and working with neonates and families, researching neonatal-related topics or teaching neonatal nursing.

Associate membership
is available to pre-existing members (registered nurses, registered midwives or nurse practitioners) currently not living in Australia, or enrolled nurses working with neonates and families, or Australian nursing or midwifery pre-registration students*. Associate members do not have the right to vote.
