Presenter: JP Miller
Bio: JP is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with fourteen years’ experience working as an Emergency and Trauma Nurse, in both low and high resourced settings. JP has post-graduate qualifications in Public Health and Critical Care Nursing (specialising in research and international health), with a strong interest in international healthcare, systems improvement and trauma reception and resuscitation. JP has worked in complex environments (refugee camps, resource poor settings, and areas of armed conflict) and to date has undertaken fourteen deployments with the IFRC/ICRC, seconded via the Australian Red Cross. His humanitarian work has taken him to South Sudan, Myanmar, Jordan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Syria and Papua New Guinea, and more recently the West Bank and Gaza.

JP was recently awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal for his humanitarian work with Red Cross.
