The Neonatal Nurse Family Appreciation Award provides an opportunity for a family to nominate a nurse who they feel deserves to be recognised for delivering outstanding care and support to a family and their infant while in the neonatal unit.
Nominations for the 2026 award will open in the second quarter of the year and close in October (date to be confirmed). The winner is announced on World Prematurity Day - 17 November.
An electronic nomination form will be available once open.

Award
All Neonatal Nurses who receive a nomination will be acknowledged and receive a certificate of appreciation.
The winner will receive an award of $500 in recognition of their achievement.
