Presenter: Dr Alison Soerensen
Bio: Dr Alison Soerensen is a General Practitioner and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant from Mandurah, WA. She will share her personal journey of parenting and breastfeeding her sick, preterm infant in the NICU, alongside her unique perspective as a breastfeeding medicine doctor. Drawing on both lived experience and clinical expertise, she will explore opportunities to better support breastfeeding dyads as they establish lactation and transition to direct breastfeeding in the NICU and beyond.
