Submissions close Wednesday 19 April 2023, 5pm aest
Acceptance notifications will be sent the week commencing Monday 15 May 2023. Confirmation of your acceptance/decline is
required no later than Friday 26 May 2023.

Abstract Submission Process
- Please ensure you complete the mandatory questions as part of the submission process
- Have you presented at a National or International conference previously. Either Oral or Poster and either virtually or in person
- Are you working towards a postgraduate degree or within three (3) years of completing a postgraduate degree

- Please follow the instructions for (i) selecting the most appropriate abstract template for your work, and (ii) naming the file for uploading the word document
Abstracts accepted for:
- Case studies
- Clinical practice or QI activities
- Quantitative research (e.g., clinical & bench research; systematic reviews)
- Qualitative research (e.g., interviews, scoping reviews, literature reviews)

In summary - abstracts MUST comprise the following elements:

Title: 15 words or less. NOT in all capitals - capitalised as appropriate

Authors: Authors' names should be supplied in the family name - first name initial format. Not All Capitals. Please underline the presenting author.

Affiliation: Institutional affiliations should be indicated with superscript numbers following the authors initial. All affiliations should contain institution, city and State.
Example: New, K1,2 & Ng, L2
1 Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, Brisbane; 2The University of Queensland, Brisbane
4. Abstract text:
- Must be written in English. Please check for spelling and grammar errors.
- An official abstract template must be used.
- The body of the abstract must not exceed 250 words.
- Use of printing enhancements such as different fonts, underlining, italics (except for foreign words or scientific names where necessary) are not to be used.
- Pictures/diagrams/figures: Abstracts cannot include pictures/diagrams/figures.
